Klinfelter Syndrome

Were you looking for information about Klinefelter Syndrome? Klinfelter syndrome is a common misspelling of Klinefelter syndrome.

Klinefelter syndrome is a chromosomal condition that affects the sexual development in men. This condition occurs when there is a presence of one or more extra X chromosome in a male's cells. Extra copies of genes on the X chromosome interfere with male sexual development, preventing the testicles from functioning normally and reducing the levels of testosterone in the body. Also, men who have Klinefelter syndrome may have breast development, small testes, and sparse facial and body hair.
